Argentine football legend Diego Maradona, who died of a heart attack, was buried in a cemetery on the outskirts of Buenos Aires, his spokesman told France Presse.
“The funeral was held in the Garden of Peace in Bellavista, northeast of the Argentine capital, where his parents also rest,” Sebastian Bianchi added.

The last farewell was organized at the Pink House (Casa Rosada), a government building in the heart of the capital, and Maradona was seen off in tears and applause by thousands of Argentines who bowed before his coffin and left flowers. Three days of mourning have also been declared in Argentina.
The farewell did not pass without scandal
Maradona fans made two scandals before the funeral. They first got into a fight with the police guarding the coffin. The fans did not want to wait in line for hours, so they started pushing, and the police had to calm everything down and several people were injured.
The second scandal is very morbid. Three members of the funeral society opened the coffin of Maradona after the farewell ceremony and took a photo with him.
The photos quickly leaked on social networks, and they will be severely punished for the nonsense they did.
