A professor took to Twitter to share some words of advice for single people looking to have a lasting marriage. He advised people to look beyond just being in love and find someone who shares their values because, according to him, "love alone is a poor basis for a happy married life". He added that marrying for love is good but love begins to fade after two years and what keeps the marriage then is their shared goals and commitment.
