But the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) have since condemned Multnomah County Sheriff’s Jail for releasing him without notifying immigration officials, according to the New York Daily News. ICE spokeswoman, Tanya Roman, said in statement: "On April 8, Lopez was convicted of sexual assault of an animal and aggravated animal abuse and sentenced to 60 days in jail with credit for time served." Lopez was tracked down by authorities on Thursday and arrested at his home. He was taken to the Northwest Detention Center in Tacoma "pending immigration proceedings," ICE wrote, meaning his deportation from the US will happen imminently.
