A 29-year-old man allegedly lured a 2-year-old girl with chocolates and raped her yesterday in Gwarimpa, Abuja. A Twitter user who narrated the incident said the man is a Muslim who should have been fasting since it's Ramadan. The man badly injured the girl when he allegedly raped her and he tried to deny it but the little girl, who is able to speak clearly, exposed him. Her elder brother who was there when he gave her chocolates also corroborated the child's claim. The victim's parents said they were "leaving him to Allah" but the case was taken up by the concerned family member who shared the story on Twitter and according to her, the rapist has now been apprehended.
