Women have always been at the forefront of effecting change when it comes to violence against women and girls, this time, as opposed to calling men out, we are calling men in to get involved and be a part of the solution.
The popular notion that boys and men are superior and should never show weakness has encouraged the culture of power, privilege and entitlement. There is also the prevalence of emotional and psychological instability among men associated with this notion which often leads to toxic masculinity.

Lasting change can only be effected when men begin to lend their voice and get involved when they begin to question the toxic values that have been passed to them and change the narratives on what it truly means to be a man.
