China discovers Gas Reserve Enough to Meet 1m People’s Energy Needs for 100 Years

More than 100 billion cubic metres of natural gas has been discovered in China’s second largest oil and gas field, South China Morning Post reports.

The discovery in the Bozhong 19-6 gas field in northern China’s Bohai Bay, according to the China National Offshore Oil Corporation, is enough to support a million people’s energy supplies for more than 100 years.
