The Mace which was seized by the thugs who were suspected to have been sent by Senator Ovie Omo Agege, on Wednesday 11:30am during a plenary session of the Senate, Was found on the street of Abuja.
According to Aremu Adeniran, the deputy public relations officer of the police, He said the mace was found where the touts abandoned it at a point under the flyover before the City Gate, where a patriotic passer-by saw it and alerted the Police.
Although Authorities are still undergoing discreet investigation on the incident, to arrest and bring the perpetrators to justice.
However the National Assembly had given the police 24hours to produce the mace stolen by the touts who were allegedly sponsored by a senator Ovie known (A.k.a Omo Agege) who was recently suspended by the Senate.
