RMD arrived the world 55years ago, in the city of Warri, In 2000, Mofe tied Knot with his betterhalf the person of, former Jumobi Adegbesan, blessed with 5 loving children one of which is from his late wife MEE who died in 1996.

RMD acting Career in the 80s where he featured in Ripples a popular TV series in the 80s, he also received writer/producers credit for his first film, titled "Out Of Bound" in 2015, he won Africa Movie Academy Award for best actor in leading role.

Politically he has served as a commissioner for culture and Tourism in Delta State Nigeria.
