The Deputy president of the Movement Ernest Fasan has made it known in a statement that the inauguration of the movement shall commence on Sunday April 22, 2018.
Mr Fasan made it known that the inauguration ceremony would mark the beginning of Atiku Abubakar's campaign for 2019 presidential race to the Aso Rock.
He also made it known that the group with its over 5million followers has chosen the former PDP man as their candidate due to wide acceptance across the geo-political zones and vast experience when it comes to leadership and politics.
He said, “Atiku is a completely detribalised Nigerian who also understands the dynamics of governing a multi-ethnic and religiously sensitive country like Nigeria.”according to punching.
The group secretary also emphasized on the groups efforts on going to the grassroots to educate the electorate on why they should vote Atiku as the next president.
According to him, RNI is present in the 774 local government in Nigeria but with more of its members in the southwest, Lagos to be precise.
